Bridezilla roars: Once upon a time …

“And (may) they lived happily ever after”

Today is Prince William’s big day to Catherine Elizabeth Middleton (now bestowed the title of ” Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.  The new coat of arms of acorns and oak leaves.

And the much anticipated dress is finally revealed.  In ivory silk and lace, the long-sleeved, V-necked gown bears a two-metre train and is accessorize with a veil made of layers of soft, ivory silk tulle trimmed with hand-embroidered flowers.  (Designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.)

Kate also follow the aged old tradition: Something old (lace technique on her wedding dress, Something new (a diamond-set stylised oak leaves with a pear-shaped diamond set drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center earrings from her parents), Something borrowed (Cartier “halo” Tiara, lent to her by The Queen), Something blue (a blue ribbon was sewn into the interior of her dress).

Classic and timeless.

i didn’t get to watch the live telecast but it’s all in the news! *obviously* :p I think her gown looks gorgeous… despite comments that lace is old-fashioned, i actually like the intricate lace details as it really brings out the beauty of the dress.
